Old stone house with spectacular view

General description

This small cottage was built around 1800 and restored a few years ago into a simple holiday home. It is in generally good condition, but it does require some refreshing (kitchen, bathroom). The roof was renewed 10 years ago. Access to the cottage is through a small road, and there is a spectacular view over a small valley and the village of Penne d'Agenais and the Lot valley. On the ground floor, there is a small living room with a fireplace and lounge area. The large glass door provides a view of the valley. Adjacent to it is the kitchen, also with access to the terrace, and a small storage room. On the first floor, there is a spacious area currently used as an office, a bathroom, and a bedroom. The attic floor is divided into two small rooms. At the front (facing south), there is a terrace and a water well. Surrounding the cottage is a sloping garden of 3800 m².

Possibilities

This house is ideal as a holiday home but can also be furnished as a permanent residence. Peace, nature, authenticity, and the convenience of being close to the village are its attractive qualities.
